Dirty Looks: On Location Venue Portrait #1 - Everard Baths
Dirty Looks: On Location, will be a month of queer interventions in New York City spaces. Throughout July we will work with 12 emerging curators, to install experimental film and video in social spaces and former sites of queer sociality (shuttered bars, baths, meeting spaces and sex clubs). 31 works, a different location, each night of July.
To launch the project we have created a series of videos which commemorate historical sites of queer interaction in New York City. Please take a look at our first video, detailing the tumultuous past at the Everard Baths.
